Board Openings for Next Season
The following board positions are open for next season. Please consider joining our Board of Directors in one of these very important roles! We would love to have interested volunteers shadow the people currently in these roles in order to be prepared for next season. Contact any of our current Board members for more information.
Elected Executive Board Positions (Election to be held at end of season awards ceremony):
President - Oversees the planning, organizing and execution of job duties by the Board of Directors to ensure success of the team, presides over monthly board meetings, and coordinates with Head Coach.
Vice President - Oversees all aspects of team registration including advertising, responding to inquiries, maintaining age group limits and monitoring wait lists and collecting all registration payments.
Treasurer - Maintains financial records of team and handles all accounts receivable and payable for the team.
Chair Positions (Appointed by Board of Directors):
Meet Director - Coordinates overall running of every meet. Works directly with meet director of opposing team to make sure set up, timelines, and volunteer needs are communicated and that visiting team has everything they need in order to ensure a successful meet. Handles any disputes that arise during a meet. Negotiates pool time with City of Pflugerville each season.
Volunteer Coordinator (2 positions available) - Oversees volunteer needs for all meets during the season by ensuring the team has adequate coverage prior to each meet and monitoring volunteers during every meet to make sure all positions are covered. Makes sure all team equipment is in proper working order and maintains inventor of equipment and beginning and end of each season.
Merchandise Coordinator - Negotiates with vendors on team merchandise needs (suits, team shirts, swim gear). Coordinates team suit try-on days, maintains merchandise inventory during the season and sells merchandise at meets.
