This will be Coach Sara's 2nd season as Head Coach of the Piranhas. Sara comes with 17 years experience as a competitive swimmer and over 10 years of coaching experience. She started swimming for Georgetown Aquadillos when she was 4 and after she aged out, she went on to coach for them for another 5 seasons. Sara swam for Georgetown High School and The University of Texas of the Permian Basin as well where she was Team Captain her Junior and Senior year. Sara also swam club with Longhorn Aquatics and Texas Gold. She works full time for Dell Technologies as a Finance Sales Account Manager. She lives in Hutto and has been married to her husband Ryan for 12 years and they have 3 kids - Hunter (10), Landon (8) and Hadley (5). Her kids have been swimming for Piranhas for 3 seasons now. She is really looking forward to a fun summer!

I swam for the piranhas for 9 years, and am excited to coach them for a third season! I also swam for Pflugerville High School, Nitro Swimming, and am currently swimming at Long Island University in New York City where I am also pursuing a degree in exercise science and wellness. My favorite strokes are freestyle and backstroke, and I can't wait to start the season!
My name is Rachel Schulze, and this will be my second year coaching for the Piranhas. I swam for the Piranhas for about 8 years and with the Wells Branch Armada for about 5 years before that. I graduated from Hendrickson High School. While I was there, I participated in cross country, wrestling, swimming, and ultimate frisbee. I managed to be co-captain of both the swim team and ultimate frisbee my senior year in 2020. This summer I will have wrapped up my junior year at Texas Tech University where I study English. I am a part of the swim club there, as well as intramural Ultimate Frisbee. I'm excited to do what I love and coach this summer.
Hello, my name is Coach Andrew! I am 18 and a senior at Connally High School. I swam for the Piranhas for 11 years! I love food, hoodies and hats. I’m super excited to coach this year!
My name is Michele Barnes. I am a 3rd grade teacher in PFISD at Dearing Elementary. I grew up swimming for Cedar Park Typhoons, Texas Gold, and Leander High school. My favorite stroke is freestyle and butterfly. I swam a lot of distance races — my favorite was the 200 freestyle and the 200 IM. I have 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a rabbit. My oldest, Dominic, is graduating from Colorado Mesa University in May. Rykin will graduate from PHS in May also. Rykin and Brooklyn have been a part of the Piranha swim team since 2021. This will be Rykin’s last year swimming with the Piranhas and he has enlisted in the Marines with a ship out date of June 24th. During the summer, our family spends lots of time at waterparks, pools, floating the river and at the beach. I am excited to help your swimmers improve this 2024 season.
My name is Vance Andrade, I am a senior at Pflugerville High School. I have lived in Pflugerville all my life. I have swam for the Piranhas for 5 seasons and for PHS all four years. My favorite strokes would have to be breaststroke and freestyle. I enjoy short distance swimming. This will be my first year coaching for the Piranhas. Looking forward to seeing lots of familiar faces and meeting and helping new swimmers.
I am 18 years old and a senior at Pflugerville High School. I have swam for the Piranhas for 8 seasons. My favorite stroke is butterfly. I have been a gymnast for 15 years. I will be attending Texas A&M in the fall and majoring in Kinesiology. This will be my first year coaching Piranhas.
